You have to look hard for this place tucked away to the southeast of the Grote Markt in an alley along the Breidelstraat in Bruges. The small passage, wide enough for two people, is a bit like an Edinburgh alley.

The De Garre alleyway is actually situated four doors to the left of the Kathe Wohlfahrt Christmas Shop in Breidelstraat, marked by an old wrought iron gate. Staminee is 20 yards or so along, up some steps to the right. As another reviewer has stated, the "draught" Garre Tripel is just superb and, for me, the best beer I have ever tasted in Bruges.
